— The personal witness

— The disciple who Jesus loved.

— He was there.  I have seen it myself.

3. The Second Sign (4:43-54)

— Why trouble in his hometown?

— What is the man’s priority?

— What does Jesus think is important

4.  The Paralyzed Man (5:1-18)

— What do you think of the troubled water?

— How does the man respond to Jesus?

— How do the religious authorities respond?

— What is wrong with Jesus calling God his Father (to the religious authorities)?

5. Jesus Doubles Down (5:19-24)

— To Jesus, what is the relationship between Father and Son?

— How do we honor the Son?

— Do you ever think you have passed from death to life?

6. Jesus Does so Again! (5:25-47)

— Father and Son, part 2.  What new do we learn?

7. The Feeding (6:1-14)

— Why do you think Jesus leads them to a remote area?

— Do we want Jesus to be king?

— What would that look like?
